3DTIN is free, online, three dimensional drawing program
Today’s offering – 3DTIN – is a neat little online 3D drawing program that’s relatively easy to use yet capable of amazing things in the hands of an imaginative person.
The program looks very similar to most other drawing programs with pen, paint and erase tools however, it’s options such as “Light Optics” and “Orthographic Perspective” that hint at something more then two dimension. There’s also multi-angle camera control at the bottom right corner of the screen which allows the user to view their image from a number of different perspectives. You won’t find that on “Firealpaca” or “Pencil“.
To get novice users off to a great start, 3DTIN also has a set of tutorials plus a gallery of saved images to inspire as well as show what’s possible.
Completed images can be saved and downloaded but only after an account is obtained. Facebook, Twitter or Google + credentials can be used obtain an account.
Here’s a simple building I created in just a few minutes.
Bottom line. Even though I am not an artist nor have any visually creative asperations, I still like 3DTIN. It’s a lot of fun just to “doodle” in and when that get old, to wander through the image gallery which is an awe inspiring treat. There are some very talented people using this program.
