Greetings,
USEFREESMS is a free, online, text messaging service.
Do you use SMS or text messaging? I do but not a lot. I like the concept but hate having to use a tiny mobile device. Even my iPhone which is probably more user friendly then most is a pain to use. I much rather employ my laptop with it’s full size keyboard, decent size screen and mouse. Unfortunately, finding a way to use a computer to send text messages is easier said then done – until today and today’s app – USEFREESMS.
This free, online app allows users to send text messages to anywhere in the world at no cost. While I can’t confirm USEFREESMS usability in places like Bulgaria or Burkina Faso, in Canada, it works just fine.
The app is also a breeze to use. Simply access the site’s home page, select the destination country, enter a telephone number, complete with area code, enter a message and send. That’s all there is to it.

Bottom line. USEFREESMS works really well but has one flaw that I can see. The app is great for sending messages but can’t receive any. That’s what I’d really like to find.
USEFREESMS is also free to use and no account is required for access and use.

did not send either of my text to my kids… I checked with them and ya can’t receive…boy I’d really like that…like you I do find it visually difficult to text on a phone…
Thanks for the feedback. I tried it with my iPhone and it worked like a charm. Perhaps I was just lucky. Anyone else have any comments, good or bad about USEFREESMS?
