It’s Sunday again, the day of rest. Some folks like to listen to music as a way to relax. I’ve even heard that certain people enjoy making/playing music as a way to unwind. I won’t know. My musical talents don’t stretch much beyond the ability to launch iTunes however, today’s site – #LABORATORY ANDRE MICHELLE – may change that, a little at least.

#LABORATORY ANDRE MICHELLE has to be one of the most innovative, fun and easy to use music creation sites on the web. Knowledge of notes, tempos, harmony and the like isn’t needed. Simply access the site’s home page and click anywhere inside the black square which dominates the center of a page. A circle will appear. Click again and another comes to life. The two circles will expand and contract based on a preset tempo. When the two circles touch, a sound is created.

The circles can be created in different sizes. Large circles take longer to expand and contract and have a lower pitch when touched. By creating a series of small, medium and large circles, the most amazing melodies emerge.

Bottom line? This site is both awesome and a lot of fun. Even the most musically challenged individual will “get it” instantly and be creating music is seconds however, they may end up spending hours here experimenting with various circle combinations and permutations.
