MOUGG is a free, web based, music streaming service for streaming your own music.
Today’s service – MOUGG – allows folks to save their music, not on a specific computer or device but in the “cloud” where it can be accessed and listened to by a multitude of devices.
To employ MOUGG, a user first needs to sign-up for a free account which comes with 1 GB of free song storage space. More space is available but at a price.
Once the music has been uploaded, it can be access by any web enabled device and played via MOUGG’s embedded music player. In other words, songs can be heard on any device that can access MOUGG’s web site.
Users can also create playlists.
Bottom line? I like MOUGG. It’s easy to set up and use. Uploading 1GB of MP3 files is somewhat tedious but fortunately, is only done once. Songs sound great on MOUGG’s player and they are accessible almost anywhere.
