RUNPOLLS is a free, web based polling and survey tool.
It’s had to believe how much survey programs have improved over the past few years. The first couple I tried, way back when required a computer science degree to figure out and the patience of a saint/monk/guru to set up. Modern survey tools have come a long way since then and a perfect example is RUNPOLLS.
An account is require to use the program. Once that’s obtained, the fun begins.
RUNPOLLS uses a “drag and drop” interface. Simply drag the function from the side bar, edit to suit and it’s done.
I like this interface because it has all the functions needed without being overwhelming. All manner of questions are possible such as multi-choice, true-false/yes-no and text entry questions. Questions may also incorporate pictures, URL’s and Youtube video clips.
Here’s a quick questionnaire I put together in just a couple of minutes
While this really is a nice, easy to use program, there is a caveat. Like so many survey programs, the free accounts are limited in functionality. In this case, RUNPOLLS allows the the free accounts to have 250 users and 12 questions per survey. If more capacity is needed, it can be purchased.
