Greetings,
While working as a Teacher-Librarian many years ago, I was part of a committee charged with planning a new school. I spent endless hours with paper, pencil, ruler and graph paper, planning the office, check-out desk location, computer work stations, stacks and all the other odd bits that go into making a school library. I know that my compatriots in the science department, art department, shops, etc. were doing much the same thing. It was a laborous, time consuming experience. If only we had access to PLANNINGWIZ3.
PLANNINGWIZ3 is a web based application for drawing house (and other facilities) and floor plans. To begin with, the program is very easy to use. No account is required or sign-up necessary unless you want to save your plans on PLANNINGWIZ3′s web site. If not you can e-mail you finished plans to yourself, your boss, project foreman or whoever.
There are scores of predesigned rooms, furniture, doors, windows, floor-coverings, etc. If none of these fit the bill, you can design your own. The program is very flexible. While aimed at the residential home building market, the program is definitely usable in other situations – like a school.
Check it out at:
Enjoy
