Greetings,
KIDEOS is a free web site offering children’s video content.
There are lots of Internet sites offering video content and some may even have kid friendly clips but it’s the “other” content on the same site that gives educators grey hair – content that’s not remotely appropriate. Thankfully, KIDEOS is not one of those sites. All it’s content has been screened by a video advisory council before being added to the site. According to information on the web site, “Our goal is to empower parents to feel comfortable allowing their child to spend time on KIDEOS, while also making sure children have a thoroughly entertaining experience.”
This no idle boast for there is a lot of content on this site – content like, “The Muppets”, “Dr Seuss” and “Sesame Street” which is widely regarded as having quality content and being somewhat educational.
Content is divided by age groupings and goes up to ages 9-10.

The site is completely open and free to use. User can sign up for an account which will allow them to create video play lists.
There is even a free i-Pod/i-Phone app which can be used to download videos with. I confess that i don’t understand why there’s an app for that. Perhaps there are more 6 year olds with i-Phones then I realized.
Check it out at:
Enjoy
