PICTAPS is a free web based drawing and animation tool.
Actually, PICTAPS is an amusing diversion with very little educational application but, on the off-chance that someone finds it useful or has a lot more free time then me, I’ve included it here.
The raison d’etre for this app is the animation of a figure drawn by a user.
To assist in the task, PICTAPS provides a draw program, specifically configured for drawing of “people like” figures.
A type of framework is provided which aids in the figure drawing process. Different shapes, colours, brush sizes, etc. are also available.
Once the figure is completed, it’s titled, then animated.

There very little variety in the animation scene or most other options so PICTAPS can get “old” very quickly but for the first few minutes, it’s a lot of fun.
