SCREENR is a free, web based screen capture program with Tweet integration.
SCREENR is one of the easiest to use screen capture programs I have tried in a while. Simply go to the SCREENR web site and click on the “Record your screen cast now!” A window appears on the computer screen. Resize it to fit the window or area to be captured then start recording. I’m not sure if there is a limit on how long the screen cast can be. If there is, I couldn’t find it.
SCREENR also allows the user to record an audio track to explain or accompany what’s happening on screen.
When finished, the video clip is save on the SCREENR web site and can be accesses as a link in a twitter post, social media site or embedded in a web page. As well, the link can be kept personal or made public.
There is no sign-up to endure or advertising to tolerate. I’m not sure how the site makes money but thankfully it not through a series of endless pop-ups.
