CLASSTOOLS.NET is free, web based arcade game generator for creating educational games and activities.
This service works in much the same manner as most similar sites. Users enter a series of questions/answers (10 questions minimum) then choose an output method such as a regular quiz, series of flash cards or one of several arcade games. The site also has a number of templates for presenting information in other interesting ways such as an interactive time line or jigsaw diagram.
Considering its completely free to use, it is a wonderful resource however, it’s not without “issues”. For example i tried creating a quiz sing the “Cannonball Fun” only to have the site go crazy with flashing screens and irritating noises. All my questions were lost as well.
I’m also not sure how questions are saved and accessed later as no account is needed to use the site.
Nevertheless, the site is still well worth a visit but be sure to save a copy of your quiz questions before entrusting them to one of CLASSTOOLS’ offerings.
